Kinda thinkin that the bar you had it attached to was an issue..
Just an off the cuff idea..
    Rabbi add some input here..

How bout a plate welded to the trl but had a hinge so it drops down when not in use..
Kinda like a folding step..When locked in a useable position you mount the ant like ya did with the 102 but trk a different ant like a 10k or wilson or somethin..

    lilillill Thanks this.

I do have an extension ladder but it's a PITA because it has to be unstrapped from the bottom of the trailer.

The new trailer doesn't have an upper front vent... hence, no built in ladder.

I wonder how a 102 attached to the exhaust stack would do? Lol

Not that i know anything about the phase stuff of coax length but length becomes an issue so there has to be a way to adjust for it..

That's actually been done using a tuner and a non-conductive exhaust coupling.

Do you have access to a machine shop or a metal fabrication shop with a scrap pile of flat metal parts? Places like that will usually sell things out of the scrap pile for the market value of the scrap which is probably around a dollar fifty per pound which is a lot cheaper than you would pay market value of a 4 x 8 sheet.
