Here's another one for the 4-wheeled motorist out there....
Say you're zipping down a merge ramp with a short chute onto the highway (meaning little to no acceleration lane, CT and PA are big offenders here). A truck moves over to let you in, you gain speed, and pass him. OK... but now the big truck wants to be back in the right lane, because in most places it is inadvisable or downright illegal to cruise in the left lane unless passing. WHY is it when the right turn signal comes on does EVERY bleeping car that's stacked up behind the truck think that's their cue to PASS ON THE RIGHT?!?!?!
I saw this somewhere on a trailer, and I think it's something not stressed enough in driver ed... on the left side a green arrow with the word "LIVE"...to the right, a red arrow, and a skull/crossbones with big black letters saying "DIE".

I never said I hated truckers? Don't put words in my mouth. I'm saying the general public hates truckers. Why would I hate truckers while I'm in the process of becoming a trucker? -
besides, it's true. Every car on the road (Generally speaking) hates truckers. Trucks are not seen as carriers of highly desired commodities and essentials. They're viewed as large moving roadblocks.
Magic is a fact of life. It keeps airplanes in the sky, Hockey on the ice, and groceries on the supermarket shelves. What the heck are all these trucks for?Working Class Patriot Thanks this. -
This definately should have been #10! Every single day I would be way back behind another truck and see he/she get over for merging traffic and then put the right turn signal on to get back over. The car behind it would see the right signal on the truck and think that the trucker was wanting them to pass on the right?
The truck in alot of cases would already be merging and have to yank back over to the left to keep from taking out another darwin award winning driver when he/she whipped over in the right lane and put the pedal down. The tractor would already be halfway into the lane change with the trailer starting to come over as well!
Every one of you out there sees this several times a day I'm sure! You almost expect it to happen when you see the 4 wheeler run up on the truck in the left lane. -
I still have that childhood memory 'don't hang close to trucks they will suck you in' thing going.. I usually 90% of them give them respect and passage to turn but I drive in NJ and LoL Jersey drivers are, I need to find a word

"Deviants" is the word I think he's looking for.
