The replies you've received so far seem to agree that your cousin would be a good fit for the driver's seat of a Big truck. I'm not convinced though.

Of the Big truck truck drivers who display the same characteristics as your cousin, I think many of them weren't like that when they began their Big truck truckin' career. It takes several years of frustration and disappointment before they reach the point your cousin already exhibits.

Generally speaking, attitudes don't improve with time. Quite the opposite. Attitudes tend to deteriorate over the years, often going from pretty good to waayyy out of line, sinister and rude with a short fuse, stressed out to the point of affecting health.

I'm thinkin' if your cousin is close to that condition already, he could be putting his well being and the sanity of his spouse (if he's married) and family in jeopardy.

I'd be reluctant to suggest a carer in the Big truck truckin' industry to/for your cousin.

    Bah!

Cussin' and swearin' is part of driving these days!

Drivers are less knowledgeable, less trained, and more distracted today than ever before. They do dumber crap, and the rules of Darwinism have been apparently suspended indefinitely on America's highways.

So cuss and swear all ya want. Just keep that car, truck, SUV, motorcycle, big rig, scooter, and skate board under control. Don't let the language flowing out yer jaws influence the pressure of yer foot, know what I'm sayin'?

I respect everyone here, but in all seriousness I have to disagree.
NOT saying I don't do it on occasion, but it's something I'm certainly not proud of. In fact, there was a time years ago that I made a concerted effort to stop swearing entirely. I was successful to the point of it lasting probably about fifteen years. Along with some other changes I made, I discovered after a while that my attitude improved greatly, I was more patient with people, and I even got to the point that when I heard swearing, I would actually cringe. Circumstances in life have changed for me recently, and I'm back to my old ways. I've become more sour and impatient, and I don't like it. Time to make a change again...

    Interesting that you mention this.

Swearing, can in fact cause negative effects psychologically and physically over time. Without going to deep into the subject swearing, swearing itself can bring about both negative and positive benefits. The deciding factor as to what type of effect it will have is related to the context/situation swearing is expressed or used. There are many studies out on to read.

With that said, I must not be doing it right because I hardly swear despite however many wheels im on.

    And from left field:

Suuuurre let him drive a big truck.

As a 4-wheeler he isn't subject to the same standards as we are.

Get his CDL, flip out, loose his license.

Now we have one less bad trucker and one less bad 4-wheeler in one shot. Win win!

Don't forget that in addition to stupidity on the road, you also have stupidity in the office. That can often be worse.
