Every car in FL comes from somewhere else at least once. The principle holds. Now the local/regional side of it I can't comment on... But I'm sure FL has vastly more moves into the state than it has out of it for almost every equipment type.

Yes but that doesn't mean you agree to haul the outbound at cost.
I dont expect to get my outbound loads for the rate my inbound loads are, but i aint working for free either.

Then leave empty. It's a choice some % of the carriers bringing cars into the state HAVE to make because there are more cars coming in than going out. As a result it's never that big of an error. I'm not in the car hauling business at all, so I can't speak to how drastic the FL effect is... But in my section of the freight market it's 3.50-4.00 a mile (with the lower numbers being for upper FL and the higher numbers for lower) in and .75-1.00 coming back out (with upper FL paying more per mile and lower paying less).

Definitely worth doing, but important to understand what is going on and why.
