Driver was headed to Manheim San Antonio when he got rear ended by another tractor. Now the trailer can't be used so I had to cancel the load. We are thinking on driving the truck to Gainesville, GA straight to Cottrell to get an estimate for the damage and claiming loss of use since we had to cancel the load. Any advise on an alternative option. Picture _ 1.jpg

Loss of use is always hard to get. My advice, take whatever they offer and be happy you got anything. I thnk you're right on. If it is a 17 hr drive from San Antonio to Cottrell, be ther in 17 hrs, get your wagon fixed and get back to work. Every minute you're thinking about it is money wasted.

And certainly wouldn't let anyone but Cottrell fix it!! I have seen some real hack jobs! I would try for the loss. No guarantee of course but I have heard of some getting it.
