Congrats and hope all goes well, keep us posted, what type of cargo will you be hauling on your own?

I got sick of leasing on to bad carriers, went on my own, and haven't looked back. It was the best gift I ever gave to myself.
TallJoe, whoopNride, MM71 and 2 others Thank this. -

Best of luck to you! But remember, the amount you are handing over to brokers is always unknown. You can operate a phone find your own clients!!!!. Build a business, step out on your own for real not half way using brokers, they are not your business parter and only have their pockets to look out for. I wish you best of luck. Let us know how it works out.
nightgunner, TallJoe, Ruthless and 1 other person Thank this. -
I couldn't believe how low your average per mile rate is. I have to sit down and calculate mine. I have one run that has almost as much deadhead as loaded miles.

Was talking to a broker today and he gave me the rate Said whoops that's the gross. Gave me the new rate. They were taking 20 percent.
BoyWander Thanks this. -
