Back up a minute I'm lost, what does the air ride you talking about look like? The part DD described has nothing to do with he's describing the coffin of a west coast trailer what are you taking about?

Again what are talking about a leveling valve "keeping up"? I haul 336's and bigger all the time, I can axle them and have no problem with the suspension "keeping up".4mer trucker and DDlighttruck Thank this.
-
Your the one who is having trouble understanding here, if your talking about the beam that connects the front and rear axles and has the trunion in the middle that's not a walking beam suspension.4mer trucker Thanks this.
-
Take that suspension to just about any lowboy manufacturer and ask them what that lists as, they'll tell you walking beam. Now, if you've got an alternate term, fan####ingtastic, but out west, just about anyone around lowboys knows and refers to that as a walking beam.
Yeah, I'm plenty educated about the old Hendrickson walking beams with the center pivot. -
I've never heard it called that and I've been around them for years, we call them an West coast trailer or bogie. But maybe out there you call them something different.4mer trucker Thanks this.
-
We call them walking beam out here. Only folks I hear call them "west coast trailers" come from quite a bit further east.

Need Ideas Specing complete heavy haul system
What's a spreader bar?
And what's a stinger?4mer trucker Thanks this. -
Same thing.
At least in my part of the country.4mer trucker and DDlighttruck Thank this. -
Gotcha. So instead of a booster you add it to a lowboy RGN
Maybe you CAN learn HH off YouTube. -
Booster is the same thing too, that one uses a hydraulic cylinder to apply weight to the axles instead of shims.4mer trucker and DDlighttruck Thank this.
