Explain to me how you can hook up in BNSF Cicero (JB HUNT), run it to Louisville, pick up an empty in Cincinnati and come back to the yard....LEGALLY....right!

-
ya i did that run before. the good thing is its easy. jb hunt drop/hook. but ya jb pays low.

@RERM So doing export/import is a way to go? Looks like it does make a big difference at the end of the week. I started of with 53' since they are easy to do. But I will work towards getting into 20/40 stuff. It was an eye opener and learning curve how stuff works at rail. Simple things can cost a lot of time untill you learn how to do it properly.
-
Don't get me wrong, 20/40 work is hard, time consuming and a pain sometimes, and 53 work can sometimes be good. But, overall, I'm in this business to make the most money, with the least miles....
-
That's the goal. Less miles more money. It's sucks sometimes, but that's trucking in general not just intermodal game. It's better to be paid more even if it's hard sometimes then wear your truck hauling 43 k of cheap vodka on 53' bound for east coast
-
Ah....... WTF? Who works for these kind of rates?
RERM Thanks this. -
in a 6 day week, that's revenue of $4245.12 if their FSC is 24 cents like mine.
Fuel cost of $1130 -
whose this? lol
-
I guess I'm spoiled then.
