I have a peculiar air leak under the dash in my 93 Freightliner. It is a very small leak and just barely audible. On the day this happened it quit leaking after a few hours. I don't know if it was from the truck warming up.

When I pulled the cover off the dash I couldn't see where it is coming from but stuck my hand down and found it. It is back a few inches from the dash panel and down a few inches from the brake controls. It doesn't seem to be a coming from a major hose or valve. Could this be part of the ac/heat system?

How much do I need to disassemble to get to it?

    Any ideas?

    Thanks

Yeah the heater control panel can leak on these. Also the little air sokenods for the various vents and ducts. See if the leak changes as you go thru the control ranges.

Also the air wiper controls if yours is air.
