I worked for roehl five years ago. Started with van national then went into silgan dedicated. They told us then to expect an average of 2500 per week. That was pretty close to accurate for me. Maybe a little less. Once I went dedicated my miles went down a little, but they were more consistent.
Flatbed guys that I talked to were always complaining about miles, so I'm thinking they got less. But idk... I'm sure a lot depends on how much of a go-getter you are.
I'm sure there are companies with better miles, but I still recommend roehl. They were a pretty good all around company. Good luck!Need4Speed Thanks this. -
Flatbed national with Roehl get about 2400 average. That depends on location and how long you are staying on the road. Like Kyle G there lives in Wi. so Roehl has quite a bit of booked freight. And, they have some dedicated for there. You live down in Texas or NC and it can be harder to average 2400.

I was national flatbed with them, 1750 miles a week average, I left and went back 6 months later, then within 4 months it was back to 1750 a week again, so I left for good. It was a common problem for open deck throughout the company unless you were a trainer. They don't have the freight to support their flatbed fleet.

I was thinking of going refrigerated???

Anyone currently working with Roehl? If so, how many miles are you getting, and in what areas are you running? By their website, 120,000 miles in 15 months seems like low miles per month.

Bet you are gone for weeks or months at a time to get those miles with Roehl.

Been gone a year but I was running Silgan dedicated and was averaging just under 3K per week. The less one complains and the more one says "I can do that..." the more miles they give you.
