yes, hide under a rock, locks all the doors, and do not order Domino's Pizza...
contact a lawyer and fight the ticket for a reduced infraction like a headlight or taillight or seatbelt, BUT STILL PAY the amount due. most prosecutors will be more than helpful as all they want is the money.pattyj and Oilguy4789 Thank this. -
The only reduced a speeding ticket to a equipment violation was a malfunctioning speed odometer. And in that case I needed to see actual receipts for having it repaired and nothing hand written worked.

You didn't receive reckless so that's a good thing.Your ticket may cause some companies to look the other way but I doubt this will ruin your career.Just stay off the pedel lead foot from now on and you'll be fine.

It really depends on the court, as every one of them have their own way of handling things. Some may allow you to go to driving school even though it's a CDL and handle it in house, some may remand it to file for 6 months as long as you don't get any more it disappears, some may let you plead it down to a non-moving violation, and some may throw the book at you. You should probably talk to an atty familiar with that particular court to be sure. Maybe there's a slim chance the officer gets the subpoena and doesn't show and you get it dismissed.

I would fight any moving violation. Get it reduced to something else any pay the fine. Pay the lawyer too, if need be. And slow down. 80+ does not look good.
