    Hey guys,
I am in process of purchasing an 04 international9400I with am isx in it and it comes with a 45' flatbed with fidelity. I am pretty excited, getting pa pic number, mc and dot numbers.. I was staring at someone's trailer and noticed their bulkhead had some rails going across to hold chains and binders, the one I am getting has a box inside that gets strapped down. I take it you can purchase and just bolt those rails onto your bulkhead? Might sound like a stupid question, but I am as new as a newb gets.. thanks guys!

Yup easy and simple. We did that set up on all our trailers never had a problem with them.

I haven't pulled a 45 ft flatbed for 27 yeras, how old is that trailer and what kind of operation is your business? I like the headache rack on the truck absolutely hate it when it's on the trailer but may be perfect for your operation

I'm sure you have done all your homework but your numbers won't go active without insurance. If your new I hope you have already got a quote or you might be in for a shock

The trailer is a 95, but believe it or not, it's tip top, as far as my operation, I will be running load boards (probably truck stop) until I find my little place in the industry. IMG_20170902_141100738_HDR.jpg

Oh a covered wagon. Plenty of room on a 45 ft trailer for steel coils

Yes I do have insurance lined up, I have sold my snow plow business to purchase the truck, I will get the 2nd payment by Sept 30, I plan to make my insurance active about a week before as well as ordering my eld about that time frame. I am studying anything I can find on load securement. As far as insurance being a shock,,, yea, it sucks. I actually am getting it requoted because I had a 500 mile operating radius in play on my current quote, which is where I will spend most my time (I have a wife and 3 kids) , but not all of it.

2 kids, not 3, I am hoping my life doesn't solely consist of coils..
