Ha, I knew that PTL driver would find another job!

 

I can't thank you enough for posting this!

Now that is a road to appreciate! Makes me wonder how much Canyon Lands Roads and Trails budgets for maintenance on just this one road every year.
But I just can't understand how any trucker could be that stupid! No wonder trucking company brass can be so cold to their drivers.
I'd like to know just what the total cost of this little escapade was to both the driver, and the company.

This is what happens when you blindly rely on gps.

 

On short loads I just blindly follow the gps.
one time ...
First the gps had me turning on a road with no truck signs, I didn't turn, it rerouted me to turn miles down the road.
But I saw a Walmart truck ahead of me turn and I was going to a Walmart DC, so I turned too and luckily he went to my shipper.

 

I never used it.

 

Trust me. They do get wicked confused. I had Co-Pilot 10 try to tell me that when in Westbrook Maine, I had arrived in Poland Maine. That is when I never trusted copilot ever again.
