    I got a new job hauling heavy equipment and asphalt loving this gig i wasn't going to last there.
    They wanted me to stay and told me to call my DM when I want to come back. Be safe brother

    That looks like a safe place... not
    Can't believe the wait time..for dry van?? Usually reefer is what I hear is the worst.

    In 2013, western express had the most filthy, stinky trucks I have ever seen. And when the tractor was hooked to a trailer, the air lines and electric cord would lay and drag on the catwalk. There were no springs holding up those air lines and electric cord. Western express had crap equipment in 2013

    I think whether or not someone is pushed depends on who their DM is. I had gotten calls at 5 am before talking about just do the 8-2 split to make this appointment and skip the pretrip. If someone runs illegal, which could happen if someone is out of hours with nowhere to park or they reach farther than they should for some nice financial reason, then the DM might like that extra money and expect it to happen more often. Then it would be a sin at that point to say no. I can think of when this may have been common with one particular guy but not generally.
