Taking another swing at it

1st load is a reefer Gfs load from Illinois to Brighton MI. Supposed to have been loaded 3 hours ago, but here I am. At least I'm in a door. Good luck to me on getting to Brighton with 6 hrs left on my clock. I can make it. Just not at 2am when they want me there.

 

That's a good thing.

 

My weekend load took me to South Carolina for 3 stops. I got 2 stops done, only to discover stop 3 will not unload until Wednesday due to the storm. Yay. Looks like a 34hr reset to me. Hoping I can salvage the week now.

 

Power keeps going out at the petro in Columbia. No card purchases can go through. At least I grabbed a beer.

 

Finally heading back to MI. Had to stop on the WV turnpike due to a fatal wreck from earlier backing up traffic.
I'll be having a sit down with whatever powers that be to see about our freight strength. I didn't care to sit 2 days after taking a long time off. That needs to not happen. I predicted it would happen too. Silly me

 

On my way to NM with a light load. Nice to break away from the normalcy.

 

Friday we got a fleet wide message to put in extra effort in the next few weeks for FEMA And other shippers, to work hard for another 4-500 miles each week.
I'd be proud to run a FEMA load. Sign me up.
