    Hey drivers!! Got my CDL October 7th. Joined Werner October 12th. Werner discovered a blemish on my driving record from 22 years ago and terminated me November 6th after 52 driving hours. Whom might I apply to now to get rolling again? I want to get driving again ASAP!! Thanks!!

    Try Central Refrigerated, I left CR England at the end of my training period because they were too bent on giving me a lease instead of a company truck. I walked down the street to Central Refrigerated and explained to them I had already been thru training. They sent me thru orientation and with a trainer for 10 days. I was in a company truck within two weeks. Now this was a few years ago and might be different now. I would call them and explain to them what happened at Werner. Hope this helps you.........

    I got a DUI in 1984 and another in 1986. Nothing since except a speeding ticket in my personal auto this past March.

    Then this makes no sense.

    Were the DUI's ask about and not stated on the application by you is possible. But anything that old is usually not relevant. The speeding ticket also is not excessive.

    Maybe they are using it as a means to downsize?

    I too had a couple of DUI'S ,1981 & 1983 which I put on my app. Werner turned me down and said it was due to my DUI's
    I've had a clean slate since. Gee you don't suppose they never F---ed up when they where young. I don't think it's even suppose to be on your record after a period of time. O'well their loss

    It's good to know that I'm not alone in the 2 DUI Termination with Werner. The question is, whom do I go to now for a driving position. Given the time of year and the economy, I'm not sure where to turn to get driving again. Any suggestions?
