It's an on/off switch on the dash of a 2014 t660 says Haldex on the lower face. I was thinking maybe a dump valve but was never told that we have truck operated dumps.![]()
Any help in identifying what this is

@TripleSix may be able to help; he does heavy haul I believe. Haldex is a hydralics company.
-
Do you have a wet kit on the truck? PTO switch?
TripleSix Thanks this. -
Haldex also does all wheel drive for cars too, according to wikipedia, maybe a power divider to the axel.
-
Got a "pusher" axle on your tractor?
TripleSix Thanks this. -
Negative
I seen that, as well as slack adjusters, and dump valves
Sure don't, just a basic t660CrappieJunkie Thanks this. -
You ask the shop guys what it is?
-
Not yet, I'm sure they know, it just didn't pop into my head till yesterday, after i was in and out of the shop.
I Do know everything they put on these trucks is on them for a purpose.Big Don Thanks this. -
If theres no wet kit/PTO setup, and no lift axle on the tractor, I would think it would be for a air dump valve for the trailer suspension.
DDlighttruck, Logan76 and Gunner75 Thank this. -
Also could be lift axle for a 3-8 axle trailer. Is there a second pigtail port with a single wire where the electrical pigtail plugs in at the tractor side?
