Well I pulled some FedEx freight. There's lots of it, just finally was in the right place, right time. Booked it way in advance, most of it is booked that way.
Klleetrucking Thanks this. -
Does it pay more than the regular freight.
-
Depends. What does regular freight pay?Sirscrapntruckalot and fargonaz Thank this.

I never drove a 100 mi for empty here at SNI . If you did you will be compensated for it. I would rather drive 100 mi, than wait 3 days for trailer.csmith1281 Thanks this.

I never did either but they tried a few times to get me to do it. And no I wouldn't have been compensated because the 100 miles I was supposed to go was odometer miles but their short dispatch miles. But it's all good. I don't have to chase empties or wait for trailers. I've got the best of both worlds.Dave_in_AZ Thanks this.

Hey there also a driver with Landstar here. Driving flatbed right now but wanting to switch to van. Can you help out a bit in what I should be buying to start out? How many straps and stuff like That? Appreciate it
-
Just curious why you would want to switch from flat to van?
