    Yes you can book any load you want, it has to go through a Landstar agent though.

    Well I pulled some FedEx freight. There's lots of it, just finally was in the right place, right time. Booked it way in advance, most of it is booked that way.

    I never drove a 100 mi for empty here at SNI . If you did you will be compensated for it. I would rather drive 100 mi, than wait 3 days for trailer.

    I never did either but they tried a few times to get me to do it. And no I wouldn't have been compensated because the 100 miles I was supposed to go was odometer miles but their short dispatch miles. But it's all good. I don't have to chase empties or wait for trailers. I've got the best of both worlds.

    Hey there also a driver with Landstar here. Driving flatbed right now but wanting to switch to van. Can you help out a bit in what I should be buying to start out? How many straps and stuff like That? Appreciate it
