Well if you want to know something. You ask, right?

Been on the State of Texas shuttle contract since 9-1 running loads to wherever they say within a 250 mile radius of Houston. (I'm with Landstar now) No, I'm not telling the rate until after it is done. Weve already had one guy run off for running his mouth to the FEMA drivers. Yes it is worth doing, and no I'm not a philanthropist, think what you want.

I'm Happy to hear positive. Thanks for the information.

RateCon from Landstar is about $1300 a day per truck. Depending on if it's brokered once or twice, drivers are taking anywhere from $600-$1000 a day.
This past week, I took home about $3500 for sitting around on standby, drove about 400 miles total.
The load I took from Ft Worth to Seguin paid about $2000 to go 220 miles, thats after my 70%.
Got bored sitting and now on a FEMA load only paying about $3/mile.
The only great thing about running FEMA loads is no hours of service restrictions.
I can run as free as a bird, the 14 and 11 hour don't apply, neither does the 30 minute. Also no 70 hour rule either on a FEMA load.
Unlimited hours and run whenever I feel like it. -
A prude !!! Lol,.I'm looking for information on how to get connected with FEMA. Thanks for the info . Be safe out there..

I have done two loads that the money was not bad $1200.00 to go 160 miles. I am not allowed to put the price on the bill. I pick up generators and the shipper says deliver to Chevron chemical plant in Beaumont but the broker has me going to Pearland Tx. They unload in Pearland and put on truck next to me and send them back to Beaumont. The brokers are making a killing.
rank Thanks this. -
That's what I'm affraid of. Dang broker making all of the money. But I guess you have to stay working. It's all about the money..

That's decent money.
