Have a 2014 cascadia DD15 325 k ptetty good so far egr valve just failed and doser injector under warranty! Had isx prefer detroit warranty!

Company just programmed my assigned truck that is equipped with isx15 plus the 10 speed ultrashit with small step overdrive with 2.67 rear end. Derated from 415 hp to 400 hp. And from 1450/1650 to 1750 torque. Nervous if this new shifting parameter is plus or bust.

I'd be more happy to have 1750 torque with 400 hp than with 415 hp with 1450/1650 torque. The dual rating of the 1450/1650 torque could be related to the driver incentives programmed into the ECM.
Anyway...regarding the OP. -
The only thing what out of this new setup, climbing up a gear higher than previous setup. was testing on The seven mountains (US 322 at pennsylvania)

'07 was not a good year either. I had one. After 20 years of swearing by Cummins that came to an end. 495k a circlip came out of the wristpin, wristpin worked its way into the block and destroyed it. $24,000 and a rebuilt block came in to Cummins Amarillo from Cummins in Dallas. 400k later and the crank broke. Not doing it again.

I compare my dd15 to friend's cm2350 isx. both units have same 650k odometer reading. he had changed only 2 nox sensors and 1 dpf. I have changed 20x more parts .. I am not taking about 1-box headaches and overhaul... my next engine will be isx sm2350 or newer. hate European overengineered junk.

Cm2350, less problamtic than pre 2013 isx15. Nervious to see how the new X15 will run through which Im currently driving one.
