    As time goes by, it will probably be the RARE trucking company that does not have driver facing cameras inside their trucks.

    God bless every American and their families! God bless the U.S.A.!

    Perhaps SOME of the larger ones. Swift has already removed them, and Canada is, as well.

    Man, being in the Toledo area, you have SO many opportunities for trucking with smaller, Ohio companies. HMU if you want some leads; it's prime pickings up there by you, jsyk~! ;)

    Sorry, @wfutch79 ... not stealing your referral, but if that's a deal braker for him, I've got a few leads, is all.

    Personally, I do what I'm expected to do each and every day; don't even HAVE a smart phone, and I could care less if somebody watches me chew gum and whistle at the same time; because I can~! ;)

    The camera doesn't bother me. I do what I'm supposed to do. Also being the nerd that I am I did extensive research on these Drivecams. There is absolutely no possible way for them to be activated remotely and viewed in real time ... it is impossible.

    You are totally correct. It would take all of the Middle East (or somewhere?) to be employed, doing just that. I've researched them extensively, as well....out of curiosity. ;)

    Yes, I saw that. There was another guy that offered up his reefer trailer as a shelter, pit about 20 cots in it ... not sure if he got fired or not. He was interviewed on the news and he asked to not be indentified or show his truck ... they showed his trailer for a split second and I saw the Stevens Transport red, black and white stripe ... lol.

    Wow, didn't hear that one; GOOD FOR HIM, though~! Without US TRUCKERS .... what WOULD they have; probably not even HOPE!

    I was actually going to volunteer to go do recon in FL because my wife has a lot of family there; but it's just too hard to get to the deepest affected areas, as a free lance.

    If you find more on that Stevens guy, let me know. I donated a bit to the W/E guys GoFundMe acct; so nice that lady did that for him; I bet he will have a BETTER job in no time, anyway. Flatbedders are a special breed.... they stick together better than the rest of us, sadly for us.

    Hope all is going great for YOU, man...... I'm real happy this is working out for you; ya sound happy and confident, and that's awesome. You'll love this sooner than later; for sure.... if you don't already!

    Ttys;
    Tom

    Experienced starts at 38 cents per mile, that includes 11 cents per diem. There are incentives you can earn as well, they add up to 6 cents per mile.
