We use them for harvest and other farm use such as pulling a tender trailer for bringing out seed and fertilizer to our drills and water trailers to tend to the sprayer.1951 ford, Oxbow, PeteyFixAll and 7 others Thank this. -
Need advice big time. Northland Ins. has informed us that they will no longer insure us. We will most likely be be in with the risky people. Two accidents. One the driver wasn't at fault. The other I was-sort of. A stupid itch could not see a 65' flatbed semi 100% cross ways to her and plowed into me. Not yet settled. Her lawyer wants a million. The claim is so far out to the lunch the underwriting carrier said we will see you in court. She was driving on a suspended license and has been on prescription Oxycodone since 2009. No work worth a darn. I'm ready to quit. The only fun part is coming home to 2 happy dogs.

Well my day was a pain! Walked around monster this morning and found a brake light not working. Got the tools out and fixed, then all of a sudden no brake lights at all???? so after some testing figured it was in the dash somewhere. Didn't have time to fool with it so I ran a wire from a toggle switch to the brake wire in pigtail. Everytime I hit the brakes I flip the switch. TAKE THAT MR. DOT MAN!! then I noticed my volt gauge needle was laying down all the way to the left. Thought maybe alternator gave up......NOPE. gauge went bad! Then a little while ago a bell went off in my head!! Some kenworths have three in line fuses hanging off the harness on the firewall. Sure enough the fuse for the brake lights had blown! ....DUH! moment so here I sit with a sore finger from flipping a switch all day!!!
2CAN, Crusader66, Logan76 and 11 others Thank this. -
