Yep and they don't have anyone to blame but themselves if they do get busted.

YOU CANNOT DO 11 then 4 hours sleep and do another 12 hours back.

You are fixing to be me when I was 21. Running 30 hour days in a day cab waiting on ships with no sleep eating boxes of 40 caffinee pills.

You are going to get yourself, someone or kids killed. STOP it. 11 hours is DONE. STAY PUT and ENJOY your EARNED 10 hours LAWFUL REST.... WHAT ARE YOU DOING??

    **Pounds the table again....

That trainer may have been the top bhand at the company...until a medical issue (heart attack, diabetes, etc...) sidelined him for a while. Just because he is no longer qualified to DRIVE the truck doesn't mean he no longer has the knowledge or experienced gained in the prior years. There are numerous other possible scenarios that could see a highly qualified individual unable to legally do the job...but more than capable of teaching others.

You do know that these "puppy-mills" don't spend any reasonable time on logs/hos.

99% is doing backings in the yard, with 10 other students standing idle/waiting for their 1 turn every 45 minutes.

I'm not surprised the "Trainer" had to step in and help do the logs the right way.

The OP is basically learning from the streets...so he better put on his girlie panties and pull out his wedgie.

Covenant in Little Rock does that. Groups of trainees standing around taking turns straight line backing. I swear that beat up shop tractor wore a rut into that gravel. Pullup 50 feet, hop out, next man hop in back up 50 feet thump, pull up etc repeat.

I have learned long ago not to allow myself to get started on the poor training. If I had a school by god there will be a skid pad and a bunch of other goodies.... with scary instructors beating on those a little slow to learn.

This is what you do: stop being a snowflake.

Did you get your CDL the right way? (No fake backdoor stuff) if yes, then don't go effin' up. Keep level head, learn what u can.

The trainers immigration status got nothing to do with it. It only brings out your bias.

I'm assuming your driving record is good & clean...so just do what CDL school passed on, and learn what this "illegal immigrant" can teach, and do it better.

You obsessing with "accident" is only a distraction to your learning.

Stop watching too much Fox News.

I feel like your trolling hard on this subject. I came here for advice first off.

Snowflake? Lol I am a Marine. Not a liberal, nor a pus sy.

I went to school for my CDL, yes. Passed driving fine. Anyone can drive. Clean record no violations.

My points in this subject mainly were to find out if everyone or every trucking job is this shady and corrupt. And if it is what it is.

I'm sure you meant well with your post, but half of it was garbage. IE: bias twords immigrants ? my family is German, and European.

Let's not get off subject here. Thanks

He has driving knowledge yes. He drives a moped. He lost license due to failing to renew his green card. The question however is... is it legal to have someone not licensed to even be in a truck or to train. He hid in the back of the sleeper everyone we pulled into a weight station.

I was able to look up the trainers court records and it showed he was pulled over driving a commercial vehicle also even after his license was revoked. So operating a semi without a license.

    Call ICE.

Note the lack of a question mark this time. This guy is an illegal alien staying past his legal deadline. He's trying, and succeeding, to make you run illegally. He should not be employed if those two things are true.
