Well that is why I asked what is legal length? If it is 48' long because he asked about putting it on a flatbed then you could bridge it across a dolly setup. If it is going to be 20' long then even a 19 axle would be real close to axle out. A dual lane is permit friendly and would maybe work better

My bad, I see now he posted 14' long. You are correct a dolly setup will not work

I ran a Liebherr crane for a while. We always called it either standard or Metric. Hadn't heard it the other way that's why I asked. Our counter weights were in metric and everything else was usually standard.

    Oxbow and cke Thank this.

    This will get you close.

I am sure a platform would be more practical from a maneuvering stand point.

139k, 13 axles on the ground grossing 210k. You only need 19 to keep axle weights legal. You can permit for the weight.

You can easily do this on an 8 or 9 axle setup. Preferably a nine because 90k on 8 axles and still had some room except the jeep.

Yep that's normal, our German cranes, Grove, Liebherr, and such were in metric. American cranes, Manitowoc, Linkbelt, etc. were US. But when dealing with weights for lifting it was always US tons.

SAR, Oxbow, 4mer trucker and 2 others Thank this.
