Start lobbing bug bombs right from the gate, get a can of RAID for each hand and lay waste to the six legged infestation... Drop a bug bomb through the cab window of every truck there...
Problem solved....

I was at a customer and they were swarming at the guard shack. A few got into my truck. One would randomly show now and then for the next 3 years ... they hide and are hard to get rid of.Lepton1 Thanks this. -
The mechanics stay the same.
If oil is getting out it is either the gasket or a scratch or something is warped. Those are the only options.Lepton1 and born&raisedintheusa Thank this. -
You won't see many posts from me complaining.
And APU's?
Over-rated in my opinion.
I idle the truck when I need to, and it is probably a lot more quiet than an APU.
Not to mention the cost of them in the first, second and third place.
I also have a 1,800W inverter in my current truck, factory installed.
And Swift will install even larger inverters upon request these days.
Also, the days of small sleepers seem to be moot. I am a solo driver in a Cascadia - with the large bunk.
I don't think Swift is getting those small sleeper trucks now. The little Volvo's are history.ballerina, Lepton1 and CasanovaCruiser Thank this. -
Fire can get rid of any bug no matter how cleverly hidden..Lepton1 Thanks this. -
They can not be avoided if you are near them.
On a scale of 1-100, roaches would be 100.
Those bugs would be 99.99999....
If they were present in more areas that would reverse because you can't smoosh them without dire consequences.
And they fly in... roaches can only walk in. -
Lepton1 Thanks this.

I also had one of those tiny half-cabinet sleepers.
Left and got a full-sized KW w/ a tripac and would never go back.
Swift didn't work out for me but I know it works for some. I don't think they're inheritently awful but some drivers fall through the cracks and get left out to dry. That's what happened with me. Im not ragging on anyone who works there.Moosetek13 Thanks this. -
(Don't tell Swift)
I found one... Makes me chuckle, thinking about what it does with it's 'wake up' setting.
V2 Climate Comfort System with Biorhythm Sleep Technology - Any Size Bed, Single Zone
One the purely joking side. That dog in my icon. I used to tell people I had to be nice to her. She let me sleep in her king size waterbed. -
You'll end up with heat flowing into the sleeper from the driveline.
