Ok, so let's say we go with a step- is there much benefit to having 22.5's over 17.5's or vice versa? Thinking a good compromise would be running readily available low pro 22.5 with wheel pockets. We're not experienced enough to know how much of a difference in revenue that extra 5" would make. I'm used to running 14' anywhere south of Virginia, so that doesn't scare us.

Before you get decide what trailer to pull you better find out what LS will let you pull. They don't let anyone new pull a RGN unless they are coming in with recent verifiable experience and their own trailer.

Chances are they'll tell you you need to pull a step for a while before they allow you to switch.

I got my start with a wedge trailer, and loaded backhoes, skid steers, all kinds of tractors-wheeler and tracked, and some goofy machinery and giant augers. Plus years of losing all kinds of cars, trucks, and other big vehicles. I think we'll adapt well!

    Lepton1 Thanks this.
