Picked up a load here in MI, along with 2 other Swifties, all headed to Davenport, FL.
I'm wondering what to expect when I get down there - both with road conditions and getting something out of there. It's pretty deep into Florida, and farther than I've been before now.

I'll be taking I-75 most of the way down. Does the EasyPass/ElitePass work with Florida toll roads?

 

ElitePass is supposed to be good for all Florida tolls. You can always call permits to check.

 

Flagstaff. I'll be home in the morning. Alegedly the Vegas to Rancho and back is starting Monday. We shall see.

Easiest tarp removal today, took bungies off and they flew off. The more annoying process of trying to fold between gusts.

Good question, I have a sunpass so idk. Not that it does me any good.

Standard E-ZPass dosent. I think elite pass does but I'm not sure.

 

Elite works in Florida

 

Tolls are currently suspended in FL due to the hurricane relief efforts.

That area is fairly rich in northbound Swift freight. Its one of the few FL locations I'll accept freight to. There's an Owen Corning insulation place near Lakeland that's one of our accounts and a bunch of pallet places in the area. And a few decent truck stops on I-4.

Davenport even looks to have power, which is good news. The FP&L map shows about 2/3 of the state is still without much power.
