Rumor is I'm getting a new truck near the new year, which is good and bad. New truck will have a much larger deck on the back, but it will not have a CAT in it and even more Importantly, will not have the bumper. The new trucks just have a standard aluminum bumper so no more pushing frac tanks, roll off boxes, etc. But we're transitioning away from the style of frac tanks that necessitated that bumper which is good because the dollies to pull them suck

Do you work for Baker too? What do you use the crane for? Berms? That would be awesome
I've seen Chicago's new trucks and noticed the single tool box. That'll suck. They say mine is for sure going away as it's our second oldest truck and I just clicked over 500,000 miles this week. My winch has been rebuilt, new clutch, new cable etc. it's just about the fastest one we have. I don't have to rev mine.

I might have to put a bug in my branch manager's ear about the crane before my new truck gets ordered
I hear you about the jack of all trades... LOL -
LOL. A bug,hug or candle light dinner its worth it. I didn't like the idea when i first heard about it when it was on the way but after i got it my thoughts changed. and i've got the aluminum bumper don't miss those dollys or the "T" tanks but it was fun pushing and dragging them all over the place. or the real fun certifying new drivers
