Thanks for the link saying what I said. They are all "self-certified by the manufacturer" which means there are no DOT certified ELD's around. Every single one simply has the manufacture say it's complaint. And we all know how accurate salesmen are... (Although in this case I have a fairly high degree of confidence everyone on the list does, in fact, comply)

Um, actually I would believe since the fmcsa has a list of manufacturers that had their registration revoked was because the fmcsa deemed them to not be in compliance. So, I would say those on the list of certified in the link are legal per fmcsa.

Yeppers. That whopping list of zero devices. Hint, DOT may, in the future, certify devices. As of yet they have not. I'm not sure they actually have plans to either.
You can say anything you want of course, it's just better to actually read and not give out bad advice. Kinda makes it harder for the people that are actually correct.

Sounds like a bunch of marketing crud. Even the link on their page, is to the self-certified listing. Reading through it all, seems like they are just in compliance, but no mention of DOT actually certifying the device itself. Just a vague "Certified as an ELD vendor" statement. Heck, that statement could be read as self certifying...

Well I tried geowiz last week and it turned into an epic fail! The idea behind the program is great, but the execution sucks! I had one driver start to use and it couldn't even keep track of his odometer reading right. One day, his odometer readings were going backwards. It messed up his locations, wouldn't flip to the drive line when he started driving and then when it was in drive line it would switch to on duty for a few minutes and then back to drive once it reconnected with the ecu device.

Tried working with there tech support and they wanted to claim it was because he was using an old ios version and apple just has been slow on approving the new update and for now we just needed to wait. Ok, I could almost buy, but when I got my device hooked up and connected to my android tablet, I was having the same issues. When I told them that, they stopped returning my calls and emails.

I'll chock this up to an expensive lesson and go back to BigRoad and the dashlink. My drivers like it much better!

Is anyone using the Transflo T7? If so are you having any problems with it?
