Ok... I would go company. The price has to be right. I would love to have a dedicated route, from NC to FL.
-
this is an Albany to Atlanta turn.......up 300, then 75, then 675.......easy peasy
rickybobby Thanks this. -
You are very right about this. The odd hours, and being on call... 6 days a week in general for many companies...
I was more than burnt out after 5 years at ABF, and was going to leave the industry before I got my current gig, which I plan to retire from in 30 years. -
we operate differently. no on call. volunteer weekend work. city works M-F, linehaul Mon night through to Sat morning.rickybobby and LtlAnonymous Thank this.
-
Then that's a good company. That's how ABF should have done it. Work the union guys Monday through Friday, and then run purchased transportation on the weekends. I would have loved that job, if that were the case.
-
Then again, there were a lot of things that ABF could have done to keep me there, and now that I'm at my new company, I'm glad they were so ####ty.

Is anyone here familiar with Schneider regional tanker? Is it better than dry van regional or the same? From some of the reviews I've read the pay seems awfully low. Also, is home time the usual 34 hours? Thanks
