    Yes sir.
Currently at the New Hampshire Welcome Center on I-93 North. Was the closest parking to my consignee in Lawrence, MA. Left there with 15 minutes driving time. Now I sit and wait for a load tomorrow, they yanked my preplan because I delivered this last load late.

Could not really help being late. I picked up the load in Tomah, WI on Saturday with 2 hours left on my clock .... got down to South Beloit, IL. Drove all day yesterday and made it to Austintown, OH, left there at 0400 this morning and made it to cosignee at 1600 .... I was running hard. Was supposed to deliver at 0800 this morning ..... no way I could have made it on time ... not sure why the hell they put the load on me in the first place. Oh well, joys of being company.

Wow, that's a huge time difference.... not like you were just taking a 60 for a 30 somewhere, holy gamolie~! So much for planners, LoL. As long as you kept in touch throughout, should be no biggie. Too bad they couldn't have you relayed or repowered somehow in between. Where was your 90/consignee you got to at 1600? No way running hard can cram 12 hours of driving into 4, even in my ungov'd Pete!!
At least it looks like you're kicking out the miles, though!! Always a bright side; and I bet you DO need that rest, eh? ;)

Vic Firth and wfutch79 Thank this.

Was in Lawrence, MA ... Colony Foods. Super tight area they are located in, mostly looked residential.

Wow, what were they THINKING? If you were at the EASTMOST part of Ohio and heading for the WESTMOST part of MA, you'd STILL be looking at 9 hours travel time, LoL! That was impossible from the get/go.

Vic Firth and wfutch79 Thank this.

Yep. I sent an ETA this morning on the Qualcomm and the idiot that responded said "Why late?" ..... uh because this load was doomed from the start?! ... uh because the load planner that assigned it to me is an idiot? .... I dont know. I feel like they set me up to fail on this one. I told them twice I would be there at 1600 .... they sent me an updated appointment time of 1430 .... really? Ok rant over .... Colony Foods got thier cheese and I am parked safely with 6 minutes left on my clock.

You did all you could, man...and put it in writing. Good for you. I doubt they set you up to fail, they're just not the brightest crayons in the box, and are probably too lazy to pull out Google Maps and just "eyeball" the miles on the basic, LoL~! ;) Go get some rest; sure ya need it! Let us know what your next plan has you chasing, curious how they're gonna run you ragged, again. You just taking a 10, not a full reset, right?
Do you ever run split sleeper? Not that it would have helped you in THAT case, anyway.....

Vic Firth and wfutch79 Thank this.

Yeah, just doing a 10 .... been running on recap hours the past few days. Will need to do a reset soon as I am starting to get close to some slow days I had where I was held up at shippers and recievers.

I have heard of split sleeper but never have done it. They ask us not to do it but there are some guys who do it. I prefer to take a full 10 and run hard all day.

You'll have to figure out what works best for you to get the proper rest you need. Sounds like you did everything right trying to communicate your hours, don't sweat it.

The split is kinda confusing, and unless you've REALLY got it planned out, and you CAN sleep on a dime, it really doesn't help much. In your situation, it would not have. It doesn't stop your 70, just splits up your 10 in case you MAY be able to get to your 90 / consignee, either within that 8 (or 2) hour window, when you are out of your 11 (and 14.) It's really only beneficial in THAT situation. If you ever have any questions as to whether it would be feasible, shoot me a pm (I get those alerts quicker;) and I'll help you figure it out. I've only done it a few times OTR, well thought out, and pretty fresh on my 70.
Bet you're kinda looking forward to that reset, after your week, LoL!! ;)

Vic Firth and wfutch79 Thank this.
