I once drove a Pinto with an engine and transmission swap from a wrecked Thunderbird Turbo.

    That car was a blast.

My brother was big into rotary powered cars back in the 80's. Once had a 72 Mazda RX 2 that was mostly stock other than it had a 13B in place of the original 12A (big block swap!) that was known to embarrass IROC Camaros. That car was fun!

I've seen a video of that Hyabusa swap before. Not sure if it was a Smartcar or not, I can't remember exactly what it was, but that car was flat out scary!

Worked with a guy who put a supercharged 3.8 from a T-bird Supercoupe in an S-10. Not sure how it turned out, I left before he completed the project.

When I was a kid, I had a magazine called "Street Freaks" with a bunch of bizarre cars. One of them was a 72 Honda 600 coupe (yes, it was a car not a motorcycle) that had a 454 and N-50/15 tires out back (the biggest street legal tires you could get back then). Bet that was a wild ride!

The idea of using a wrecked Hellcat was with the intention of using EVERYTHING from that car on the Coronet. Basically strip the Coronet to a bare shell and take everything from the Hellcat and put it in the Coronet. Airbags, steering column, dash, computer modules, even using the headlights and doing something with the tail lights. It would actually probably be easier to do the body swap.

Btw, Sandra is my free pass, provided she would be open to it of course, but I have to admit, Scarlett would be a bit more....um.....exciting, shall we say?

As long as we're dreaming, let's make it identical twin Scarletts. Overly amorous ones, with no concept of personal boundaries (woo woo woo).

Corvette Indy. Mid engined Corvette concept done in 1986 with a 4-cam 32-valve V8 (as per the upcoming ZR-1).

Rumor mill says that mid engined HYPERVETTE will soon be a reality, based on work stemming from this car (one of two--this one is fully functional while the other is a full sized model).
