if you pay drivers right you should not have to worry about head hunters walking away with your hired help. Companies have a hard time coming to terms that employees are not circus monkeys at the employers beck and call 24/7.
I was told by my driver today that the company we are sub hauling for tried to poach him.

How do I delete my thread, my question because I got the answers that I needed but I want to know how I delete it off of this website because like I said I was just trying to get information and I never heard about this whole contract thing until today but I don't want it to look bad on our company because we actually are just starting since April and obviously we don't have the means to make somebody Rich when we are trying our hardest to just get the company started but I really appreciate everybody's comments but I want to know how I can delete my question or my thread or whatever you want to call it off of here

I'm okay with that. I was just trying to find out information and that's what I got so if anybody feels the need to hold that against me that's perfectly fine. Have a great night

I have a contract with my wife! In that contact where as and here to if I don't act right or she don't act right she can leave and take all my junk!!! Nobody said it was a fair contract but....as Jerry Reed put it "She got the gold mine I got the shaft"!!Feedman, Ruthless and M.A.TRUCKING Thank this.

Hopefully this thread gave you some insight. No need to be so terse.
I would never sign a contract with a carrier. Stop and think here, why would you want a driver who wants to leave driving for you????M.A.TRUCKING and BigBob410 Thank this. -
Here is a way to handle this situation. Is a a good performer for you? Offer the driver some more pay. Try to keep him from leaving that way. If that does not work, thank him for his service to your company. Then tell him that the door is open if he decidesvhe wants back inTb0n3 and M.A.TRUCKING Thank this.
