Truck made its first paid voyage yesterday, or I should say first for me. No inside light except what comes from the dash but dang-it man, she rolled down the highway like nobody's business... Fuel gauge is starting to come alive and some of the signal lights on the dash have started working. The "low air" warning light and buzzer started working, got to find that darn air leak that causes my seat to lose air. Have to hit the button to add more air every 15 minutes.... Anyway, she is parked now and I realized a half hour after I got on the road that I didn't have any reflective tape on the rear of the cab or mudflaps.. Just ordered some from Amazon a minute ago so, Friday that will be taken care of, for now there is a trailer blocking everything... At any rate, Orientation is over with and I am working again, with my own truck! I have two runs they gave me for this week and than I start my regular dedicated route next Tuesday. I am blessed, praise The Lord! HOOAH!!!

My old rig needs a new cab mount, windshield washer fluid lines fixed, horn's replaced/fixed, an air leak found and repaired, new door locks, a future passenger window motor (getting weak), cab light switch fixed and I think I have some type of fluid leak. As far as the fluid leak, this truck had a fuel leak that was fixed and fuel leaked pretty bad at the rear of the motor while running. Truck was even driven for about 3/5 miles while the leak was still evident. That leak is fixed now but it looks like I have a one up front somewhere now due to the wetness around the bottom of the front of the motor. The list of things needing repaired/replaced really isn't that long but things like #1, #2, #3, #4 & #8 could put me OOS quick! What I need is some contacts for old cab-over parts, or suppliers. My local International is not very helpful at all....

The cab mount you may have to find in a junkyard or fix what you have. Washer lines you can get at any parts store just need to match size. The horn also is nothing special, your only required to have one, doesn't have to be air horn.
