    Cosworth. Yes. Twin cam. Closest feeling thing would be the Toyota A86 Corolla (85-86, front engine rear drive twin cam, sport tuned chassis).

    That was the Vega that Chevrolet should have released. It was a good platform and solid design but it was completely nuked by the accountants, to the point that the car the general public got was a nightmare of rust and warped heads.

    You should read what John DeLorean wrote about the Vega. It was created by the GM central staff and dumped on Chevrolet when he was the division VP. The first time one of his engineers drove the car, the front end fell off when he hit the brakes!

    Yeah that's a famous story. The Monza fixed most of what was wrong with the Vega but by then Chevy had earned a lousy reputation.

    Never let accountants run things.

    Feeling better. Life Savers and carrot chips (Life Savers for immediate sugar input, carrot chips to prevent low sugar later).

    Weird tasting combination though. Can't see it making the list of flavors at Coldstone.
