    >>> If the speed limits are updated Quarterly then why am i constantly coming across incorrect ones?
I can send you a list of all the incorrect ones i have found so far and keep going.

Your correct, i need to be more specific - Go from 1122 Ulster Ave, Kingston, NY 12401 to say 49 Geyser Rd, Saratoga Springs, NY 12866

When i leave the mall area and turn onto Rt 9 , instead of routing me onto Leggs Mils and up Rt 32, it keeps telling me weight restriction, which was on Leggs mills road, @ 5 yrs ago. So i just go anyway and up Rt 32 str8 to Saugerties NY, left and onto i87 and done. But this is an old issue.
leggs. I have also seen other routes that were done weird because RM "thought" there was a restriction that it was trying to avoid.

And yes direct feedback. Rm has the ability for the owner - Drivers - to give direct feedback on issues, everything from speed limits to incorrect routes and roads. between the all the units out there, which im guessing has to be 10,000 units in total sold, all those owners give feedback on issues they come across daily. so yes i am guessing about thousands but i would say its a decent guess, that RM is getting 1000s of feedback issues daily, at the very least hundreds, daily. and yet it seems that they are not doing anything with this info. Speed limits are not update from quarter to quarter, even year to year. Routing inst' fixed. Rm has the chance here to be #1 by a long shot but they aren't taking advantage of what is right in front of them. Direct Feedback from drivers n the road. Hell if RM would start using the info that is coming in daily to it and would use it to check the info against the lousy info that RM is getting from its map supplier, then every Month RM could be putting out up to date info that is correct and trustworthy, which in turn would make RM the # 1 GPS for any commercial driver.
I'm starting to feel that all the map issues i send in just go into the junk file rather than actually get used for something.

I taking a stab here, and anyone here can dispute this, but i don't think anyone of us, would mind spending $500+ for a GPS that we can trust and works 99% of the time. not 75% of the time.

As for the ex73 issue, my truck settings are standard 53ft, trailer, 80K so i don't understand it.

Did i cover most of this???

I don't see a Leggs Mill Road. Why not take 9W to 209 and onto I-87? But, I gave to the GIS department to look at. I tried several ways on the TND and even in Car mode it does not take 32.

Speed limits are corrected, but they have to be on a major road. Small town speed limit changes are done via HERE.

Any information has to be verified. If a Map issue then it is passed onto HERE. If a truck restriction then it is verified with the state and updated quarterly.

Exit 73 I tried several times and it did not take me the way you went.

    Thanks,
    Mark

I have noticed this same issue on my 520. Near as I can tell, and if I remember correctly, there may be a left exit first for another road, so what the gps is doing is directing you away from that. Very confusing, but then you should have a general understanding of where you are going and know if you want to get off on 264 or stay on 65.

There is a similar glitch in Chicago when traveling west bound on I-80 at exit 160. I want to continue traveling west on I-80, but the gps will direct me to take exit 160 which leads to I-94. But before you get to the sub-exit (an extra exit within the first exit), it directs you to stay to the left for I-80.

RM has no weight restrictions on US-9/NY-32, but do have “all trucks prohibited” restrictions on it in Saugerties, where there are numerous hairpin turns (before and after crossing the bridge)

    Thanks,
    Mark

I had to go back to look at this one... I see the issue and I will submit it.

    Thanks,
    Mark
