Another trucker flagged me down and said I swiped him which I don't think I did and my truck or trailer has no indication of me hitting him. He says he has a dash cam and couldn't pull the footage so the cop says if he can't pull it by court date it will get dropped. I was cited with improper lane change. I'm in the first year of my authority. What am I looking at as far as insurance prices now if it sticks?

i am surprised you even got a ticket from the cop, as HE DID NOT witness that. as it stands now, there is no proof, so i'd fight the ticket.

It was a Werner truck. He said all the video went to a hard drive and he couldn't pull it up. I'm not saying I didn't hit him but I don't see how I would have not noticed it.

well you are driving a big rig. there are many things you could hit (or sideswipe) and not feel it. you claim you saw no damage on your rig, so the hit may have been very light. did you inspect his truck and trailer as well?

and being a werner truck, it most likely has a zillion scrapes and scratches on it now, and maybe he just did it himself, and is in deep mud with the company, and wants to blame someone else.

    i'd still fight the ticket.

His headlight was ripped out and he had a rubber scuff mark on his hood where I cannot figure out where it came from.

That's what I thought too but the marks were too high. Either way I'm going to try to fight it and take it as a lesson learned if the tape shows I did do it. First time anything like that has happened to me.

Do you have any signs on trailer tires? Take lot of pictures with Werner driver in view.
Probably Werner driver was nose parking and hit someone tire now looking for excuse not to be fired.

One of my tires had marks but those marks have been there a while from brushing up against the curb. I took a pic of the damage.
