Most of what you said I believe is what's behind this meeting. After thinking about it, we are going to up our own driver pool participation with the drivers we have rather than hiring more.

Glad I saw this thread. Made my first post elsewhere and it would have been more appropriate here. Also noticed the change at hiring site Saturday afternoon.
I've been a Wally driver for going on 19 years. I can deal with change and am pretty pragmatic in my world view but am getting edgy about this coming week's mandatory departure day meetings. I'm not on a program or set run, so as long as it's about that (and the dreaded inward looking cameras, likely), I'll consider myself a fortunate son.
Trying to talk myself out of the blues.

I just hope its not another mandatory meeting where they say , we value the Private Fleet and are looking at all aspects of the company speech, whatever they are gonna do just Do it,Management says dont listen to rumors, do their part and tell us what is going on so the drivers can adjust to the changes or move on its that easy.

If you can never work up to a "gravy program", get a flw, bid a run, have to worry about getting fired any minute and smile for the camera....what is there to look forward to????

In order to cut overhead and compete with Amazion Wal mart will no longer be hiring drivers, as of Jan 1st 2018 they will only be using outside carriers.

What's the new starting pay. I only heard about the cameras and payout instead of raises.
