I see some Freightliner Argosy's around, but when I looked it up, it said they are only available as gliders in North America, so not sure how they do itMattflat362, QuietStorm and Ryan423 Thank this.

mhyn, QuietStorm and 86mechanic Thank this. -
Those are the one I saw too. Aren't they part of Gardner ?QuietStorm and Ryan423 Thank this.

I guess so. I looked it up. Don't know much about them other than seeing them around.QuietStorm and 86mechanic Thank this.

I've sat next to a couple of theirs at a receiver before, looks like they had a dedicated account with. They actually have a crew that goes around washing their trailers and rigs. I couldn't tell what model they were using though.

I looked into it pretty hard for an account that I had could have really used a cabover, Argosy was/is as close as you can get and NONE of them were emissions legal in cali. "as sold new" I believe last new Argosy you could buy was a late 06 sold as 07's.
Anything after that is a glider, I am familiar with the Gardner trucks, they bought several Argosy Powered glider kits with 12.7 Detroit's and then had a company out there add passive DPF's to them.
I guess it worked, but VERY expensive to do, and even those trucks will be "out" of the legal window shortly.QuietStorm Thanks this. -
Are they making all gliders illegal now?KANSAS TRANSIT Thanks this.
-
I've heard the new Argosy is exempt in CA as they can't be purchased with the current emissions system.
If that were true I'd imagine seeing alot more of them in CA.KANSAS TRANSIT and QuietStorm Thank this. -
I saw a couple recently on the i5 but they were a the older models.
