This is a different situation, I never ASKED for advice and frankly encouraging me to put stuff into my cooling system is bad advice anyway. Why are you so offended that I'm not going to follow it? People like you are really making me reconsider posting here.

Ya, asked for advise in first post.
I am not a fan of stop leak but I may of considered your jamespmack suggestion to get me home to my shop where I could dig into said problem thoroughly.
Can always flush engine and radiator with some pretty good products, better to spend a couple hundred on cleaning and new antifreeze then score cylinder walls or bearing. -
I suggest you re-read my first post. I never asked for advice, thanks anyway.

I have been a member here for a long time. I have learn a few things about posts. I try very hard to ignore and avoid any argument about any sort of snake oil, mechanic in a can type of remedies. FYI, I also avoid posts about tire wear, alignments, parts cost, labor times, repair costs and dealerships simply because everyone is an expert and they all feel their way is the best and yours is wrong, and therefore the argument ensues. Sometimes it is best to just say nothing.
