Playboy founder has died

Good question.
Publishing is contracting right now.
Porn is pretty much free on the internet.
They have a brand and name recognition but the people in charge of that might not be able to manage it well. (They tried to do away with the centerfold last year, lasted about 8 months, so all it takes is a buyout from a big multinational publishing conglomerate like Hattchette-Fittapaldi or Hearst and assign some politically correct feminist to run the mag and they'll destroy it overnight.)

 

Yeah they tried it and it flopped.

There was a brief spike with the "last Playboy with nudes in it!" issue, and it made some mainstream media headlines.

But a few months later they quietly put them back in.

(I feel like I should add, I've never actually bought/read a Playboy in my life. Not that I ever had a problem with it, just never did.)

 

I can see why. Anyone can go down to a Best Buy, get a camera and make their own at home. Brand it as "Amateur" and rake in the money online. Same principal as hauling cheap in trucking isn't it?

 

Well,,, I mean, I don't think anyone would pay to see me nekid,,,,

So I can see the supply/demand curve favoring,,, well curves.

seems to me, everyone one of those magazines, would open up at the center.........(for me)
