A CB Rambo is a big mouth making a lot of threats and challenging drivers over the CB to meet him and fight . If you want to see one in action go to YouTube and search CB Rambo .
-
The famous words of a CB Rambo is......."Pull over driver, Iam going to beat your ###"!

The short answer is "a prick"
Big Duker and MrsSandman Thank this. -
If you want to hear a CB Rambo, hit up Oak Grove, MO sometime. There's 2 big truck stops where all the truckers hang out at. On occasion some big shot will threaten to whoop people's ##### and such. Funny thing is I don't think any of them are willing to step out from behind their radios but they'll sure talk tough.

exactly what it sounds like.
a guy whos all tuff on the radio, has the language, and rudeness you'd expect the name CB rambo to come from. Generally they have a radio that allows them to be heard, and some dont reply to anything, while others reply to every little thing....a lot of the time very aggressively too. they come in all shapes and sizes but they all sound the same. -
I had a CB rambo encounter today in Knob Noster, MO about 11:30 am. Some big shot on channel 19 threatened to give me an ### whoopin. I told him to bring it on. He then asked where I was. When I told him my location (about 2 miles south of where he said he was at) he said "I'm surprised that little radio even gets out that far".
What this ignoramus didn't know is I was on a base station, and not on a mobile as he suspected. What's even more is I was talking on a stock 4 watt radio without any heat. I didn't bother telling this fool how a good antenna makes or breaks any radio. He probably would have been smart enough to have understood anyways.
Anyways, after telling him my location, then the excuses start rolling out. All the sudden this clown goes from talking tough to backpeddling, with the "I can't come whoop your ### right now I have to go somewhere".
I call him out on being a CB rambo, that his actions speak volumes on his character, and to have a nice day. Then he goes into some tirade about "ok well I'm turning around right now. I'll be driving a red semi. I'll be there in a minute, you better be ready". Of course he never showed. I knew he wouldn't. All talk and no action, just as I figured.
Yet he did have some friends of his with him on the radio and they started referring to me as the c.b. rambo. LOL too funny considering he instated the fight, he was the one talking all bad ### and such. Not once did I ever call him any names or downgrade him, just called him out on his b.s.
I did end the convo with "have a nice day and try not to bust a blood vessel getting all mad over the radio."
platinum Thanks this. -
Turbo ......
Back in he 1950's on 75 meters there was a HAM who would start the evening with " NO LIDS NO KIDS NO SPACE KEDETS" then spend a long time tuning up untill his buddys came on the air. They would run off anyone who tried to use that part of the band ....
So being a JURK on the radio ( HAM OR CB ) is not new or will it ever stop. Now around here the local CBers had a way to limit some of them with a pin
placed it the coax ......
I don't support this kind of behavor how ever I would be willing to help buy some pins
