Undue hardships imposed by government? That's never happened before.

That bad genie got let out of the bottle long ago and is never going back in.

What's laughable is all these guys buying crap wore out old trucks that's going to cost them many thousands every year in additional fuel and breakdowns, just to save $500 and $30/month in fees to avoid dealing with ELDs (which goes to prove the point there is obviously something else to their issue with ELD's that they can't admit to)

Been trucking 35 years , 28 years as an O/O. The only improvement has been the trucks . Gov insane regulations are infuriating but if wages were rising compared to expenses over the years we wouldn't have much to ##### about . The elephant in the room is the influx of foreign drivers , they hold down freight rates , and are easily manipulated by companies , you want to change trucking and get paid what your worth then American freight hauled by Americans , no more foreign drivers and cross boarder trucks stop .

Oh come on now, thought all you guys around here had a hard on for capitalism and the free market. Looks like the market found a way around you.

You start off saying "gov regulations are bad!"

And end with "but regulate this one thing I don't like!"

    Which is it?

Let's try to answer your post .
You say you thought all you guys had a HARD ON for capitalism and the free market , spoken like a true socialist or worse " feel the bern"

The looks like the market found a way around you . Half true but so smug , smug , smug I'll bet you drive a Prius .

The market in league with our corrupt government would be a more accurate statement , for instance passing NAFTA , and bad free trade agreements .

Then you misquote me saying gov regs bad , another half truth , I said gov insane regulations , for instance OBRs and hours of service , then go back to insane carb rules and any number of EPA regs .

Then you say I want this one regulation , like I'm the one confused , but throwing out NAFTA and enforcing immigration laws , isn't calling for more regulation
