I asked a guy that once he told me that you can hit 72,000 a year a a company driver... I’m relocating there next year I’m trying to see now if I should stay with schneider or look for another local company
JLT Thanks this. -
i can tell you right now if a recruiter is saying our drivers make x per year, but doesn't tell you the specific pay model, and forces you to go to orientation to find out.
then you should say no that job offer. -
No it wasn’t a recruiter it was a employee I had met out here

I work out of Fairburn/CSX in Atlanta for Schneider. It all depends on how you want to run. I have been doing intermodal for 5 months and grossed 30k and I run hard but I’m also at the low end of load pay because of experience. There are many factors in your pay including bonus and accessory pay which add up to about 100- 200 per week for me. 70k plus is possible with no slip seat and 6 days but don’t expect to make that working 5 days. The average pay is 1250 for the fleet in Atlanta.Last edited: Nov 5, 2017

Thanks that’s where I’m trying to move next fall I’m working local in winter Haven now did the jetser for 8 months and I’m slip drying night shift but it’s been good so far and same i run hard 2 so that wouldn’t be bad at all

What’s the cost of living in and around the Atlanta are?
-
That i don’t know but i do know living in the city of Atlanta the main part is higher than average and our skirts are cheaper
-
If you want to stay out of the rough parts of town it's on the higher side now you can live 45min out of ATL (depending on traffic and time of day we all know that) in the country for a decent price
-
I’m from California so everything is expensive
