Where is everyone #5

Parked at Dad and Mom's place. My little Shop is full of junk at the moment and my ol truck needs some love. I finally put the bumper on I have had for months lol. A set of new breather lights. Probably won't make it to the head light swap this weekend. I have a complete brake job to do, along with new drums and s-cam bushings. Bushings have minimal play but I hate to do all that and not do the s-cams no play is the key to stopping power.

 

Rolling outta the house tomorrow morning. Been home all week.

Found out my neighbor is selling her home and going to run a business inside of her RV as she travels the country. She does some sort of life-coaching type thing (shes a retired firefighter, did 20+ years with our local county), wished her the best...

This is a minuteman missle site on some land we own. Either they were doing an exercise or it was the real deal. There wasn't a lot of protection around this so must not of been too important.

You see a lot of these sites scattered around the area placed during the Cold War. I think 100 of them remain active out of 1,000 or so.

 

Dodge City. Is that your neck of the woods?

There was another forum member at the place I picked up. Nice young fellow with 18 months of flatbed under his belt. Seemed like a good hand. Can't find his handle so maybe I heard it wrong.

 

This is pretty much how I bought it. 13k a year ago next month. I tried to get it pulled up to about the same angle course I haven't gotten to the headlights yet. That can be a half day project in itself. I have an appointment at the Polish shop next Saturday. It's still gonna need a set of 7's and a set of rear fenders to suit me.

 

Dodge City is 2 hrs west of me on US 50.

 

How new is that? Cat with a 15 spd? Good lookin rig. Did you say you got that from your uncle or something?
