That's awesome! Thank you so much man, I currently am working pretty much 11am to 11pm or when ever I get my route back. I miss knowing when I was going to get off. I have a bit of anxiety when it comes to moving to a new company, I like being well informed before I make the move, not entirely sure why lol.
I'll be applying this Friday morning so I'm pretty excited and nervous. Ready to get back to a class a, been in a class b for too long

    Update:

I filled out an application on Sunday the first. Got a call on Wednesday asking for me to come in for a casual interview. That was actually pretty funny because I walked in and in 10min I was walking out to take a piss test lol. Took my piss test this morning and now I'm just waiting for my results to get back to them. They are wanting me to start out at 18hr which I'm perfectly fine with, considering I only make 13.95hr right now with no future of making more.

I'll keep updating this thread since I don't see any current threads on DeepWell. So far they seem like a good company as far as the management that I have delt with so far that is.

I currently work for Loomis Armored, I drive a class b armored truck. It's an interesting job at times but I'm not really enjoying straight body truck.

I feel the same, I turned down what would have been a boring job with Slumber J because I didn't want to go Class B.

It just amazes me the armored car job adds I've seen in my life pay so little for what you risk AND are in trusted with.

This is so true, I wear a bullet resistant vest and that #### is not comfortable at all. I have 1600 in gear just to protect myself. The ####ty part of all of it is they only pay out 50k if you get killed in the line of work. They don't pay over time and health benefits are a joke lol I can't even afford it if I want a paycheck.

Did you HAVE to pay $1,600 for protective gear or did they?

In my early 20's I was interested in this job, but it was the lowest pay, so I went for the higher paying jobs I didn't like.

It really sounds sad how they compensate you for your service.

I hope you get into the oilfield soon, or ANY better job and leave that s###y company behind.

    All the best to you

Here's the deal on that, I didn't have to buy any of it except a firearm. I had to have that if I wanted to move money across pavement. *Not in the means if driving but in the means of actually being responsible for the money, like the guy that goes into the bank.* That was about $600. They offer an interest free loan that is deducted out of your bi-weekly check. You could have as small as 5$ or as big as the full amount taken out, which was pretty nice. Now the part that cost $1,000.. I had to buy a Loomis branded vest, meaning it was ordered through Galls but came with the branding Loomis, mainly so everyone looked the same and didn't have that one crazy looking guy lol. I say had to like we were forced to, but it's completely optional, however, when you are running say 250k across the ground, for me, it was piece of mind knowing that I had a little bit more protection then anyone else. I got to experience alot of cool things with this job, like transporting upwards of 60mil, and transporting show dimonds where two examples lol. Lucky in my time here I never had an incident where I could of been robbed but I always looked for it.

I've always believed that you have to work the ####ty jobs in order to get the ones you really want. Not many people get to step into their dream job right away, hell I'm 23yrs/old I know I have many years of the suck to go through but asking as I either enjoy it or the money is decent thats all that really matters. Loomis was a #### good, and easy job. It just sucked pay wise.

The yard was in Houston but we just moved to 84 PA. Over off the dunningsville exit. And the pay is gonna be somewhere between Luke $19-21 an hour to start, depending on experience and which shift you go on.
