I can't speak for your area, but Sandbox in Oklahoma City isn't all that great. At my current job, I had a co-worker leave to haul for them. As an O/O he said the work was alright, but hard to make his bills. He switched to company side and he said it was alright, wasn't really a job that he would recommend. Money was alright but ended up going to Halliburton making more money working more consistently. Of the ones that I personally know who have worked there they have never had anything good to say about management. Take it for what it is worth since I'm passing on word of mouth.

I have former coworkers working out of a yard in Kenedy, they tell me they're making $20 an hour and getting 80 hours or more a week.

That sounds the same as I did during the month of July and August 2014, I was working 90+ hours weekly and grossed just over $10,000 each month.

    That is hardly crap wages.

Yes it is when you consider the amount of hours you have to put in. And you only did it for two months. What about the other ten months of that year?

What about the other 10 months of that year? Well, I'll tell you.

I worked the Eagle Ford for two years. My first six months, the second half of in 2013, I grossed 45k although I don't know my average hours.

In 2014 I only worked 9 months, as I began my three months on and one month off rotation. Excluding the two summer months, where I already mentioned that I earned 10k each month. This means I averaged 7 a month gross, for the remaining 7 slower months of 2014.

So I sustained my workload consistently for three months at a time.

I forgot, but I think the company is C&J, it used to be Nabors. Their yard is along 72 just south of Kenedy.

I'll call my friend to verify and post it.

Don't bother, I worked there. Hauling water they start at $17, but when I was there in June you could work as many hours as you wanted. Hauling crude was commission based and although they were busy, the money wasn't enough for me. The water guys could make just as much or more.

I don't understand where you are coming up with these ridiculous scenarios. $560 a week in per diem and 100% paid healthcare with zero deductibles for the whole family, lol. Complaining about the hours being too much. Where have you ever worked in the oilfield and had all these requests? The only reason people in the oilfield make so much money is because of the overtime, so I'm not sure what your hang up with working so many hours is. It's like you are stuck in 2012 and if you can't make that money it's totally not worth it. Well, to some of us it's still better than what we can make back home, so we deal with it. Man camps and all. To me, you sound like the guy who asks all the annoying questions in orientation and pisses the rest of the class off. These threads are created from people asking questions about a particular company or general oilfield recommendations, not to read your opinions about how you think you should be paid or breaking down your reasoning based on emotion. That helps no one.
