tony be cauious on recaps period. they are ok in a pinch. or dragging under a trailer. big difference when you apply power to them.

Great day for trucking after I got past the rain this morning. Everything just clicked along today smooth as glass with great music on the radio and truck pulling strong.

I love being an O/O flatbed trucker!!!

Makes me feel like this on the good days!

 

I only made it to Earle, AR today. Only got another 550mi to Houston. Taking my time since it doesn't unload until Monday afternoon. Was hoping to get in a 34 reset this weekend, but I'll just run recaps.

Money pit walk away don't look back just keep walking. Offer him scrap price because that's what it is. But sounds like you want it so go ahead put more money and work into it then what you could go out and get one. Motor o/h cat with warranty around 25k that's if it's not a multi torque. 10spd trans worth nothing rear ends will need attention soon and sitting does a truck no favors at all.

 

I've always thought one of those would be cool to have, but I would wind up cutting myself to the point of needing stitches.

 

@shovel98 I didn't want to be the first to say it is not worth because of what it is. There too many negative factors. For me the truck is waiting to become someone's nightmare. Imo.

 

Depends what they want out of it, if Tony wants a project to build from the frame up, I would offer them 8500$ and hold to it.

I would chop the frame up under the cab where it's still good and stretch it to whatever length you want.
