Well I've been driving for ALS for about a month now and I have to say thus far I'm pretty impressed with their operations. For starters I'm being paid .34 cents a mile as starting pay. I'm driving a 2007 KW T800 that has a Carrier APU on it. I'm able to get direct deposit for my pay plus health benefits that kick 90 day's after you start your employment. Not to mention the dispatchers are the nicest people I've worked with in a long time. So if there are drivers in MI looking to change for a better carrier send me a private message and I'll hook you up with their phone number.

Well guys I finished today orientation and all I can say is that starchdoggy is giving you 100% true facts- in last three days I talked with many new people coming to Ramada and waiting for all to start- if you do not ecpect much you will be OK, otherwise look for another company. On Monday they had 45 people inorientation, Wednesday 15 tomorrow also many, so, yes they are hiring but also many people quit after just few days...I am on leave of absence and do not know will go back...

it is just that soooo many guys start with companies like this and wind up getting turned off ... then quit and chalk ALL trucking up to the lack luster standards that companies like that offer.

I would say get your start somewhere - but be open to a better oppourtunity when it arises.
