    My hubby remembers when drivers who HAD to be away from their families during holidays got FREE meals...even from the Flying J.....:biggrin_25512:

    Whatever happened to that kind of compassion???

    Yeah , $9.99 for the meal , add a drink and tip and you aren't getting much of a deal . Will the quality of food be any better than what members described in the thread on Flying J buffets closing ?
    I know last year Landstar would buy it's contractors Thanksgiving dinner at a T/A . I haven't heard anything about this year .
    For a good free meal , Monday November 17th Golden Corral will give free meals to all current or former members of the military from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m.
